Ordering & Payments
What products do you sell?
We now focus exclusively on our patented Mighty Mite Dog Tents. Other gear previously sold is no longer available.
Do you accept Amazon payments?
No. We have done away with Amazon payments.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, and PayPal. Payments are processed through Mighty Mite Dog Gear’s account.
Shipping & Pre-Orders
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, but we generally have to manually calculate shipping charges outside the United States. We will invoice via PayPal for the difference. This covers only actual shipping charges — customers are responsible for any duties or fees.
When will my order ship?
In-stock tents usually ship within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.
How long do pre-orders take?
We cannot provide exact dates, but we send regular updates from the time of shipment from our factories in Asia to delivery to us in the US, and finally to you. Typical pre-orders take 6–8 months.
Warranty
What is the warranty on my tent?
Fabric and zippers are covered for 30 days. Tent poles are covered for six months. To file a claim, email [email protected].
Returns
What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase. Items must be in new condition with original packaging. Contact us at [email protected] before returning.
Product Care
How should I clean my tent?
DO NOT use soap — it will remove the waterproofing. Use a commercial camping tent spray (available from camping supply companies, Amazon, and Walmart). Spray your tent once a year with a water proofer if used frequently outdoors. Allow the tent to air dry if it gets wet to prevent musty odors. For daily cleaning, you can hose down the tent and let it air dry.
Any safety tips?
Mighty Mite Dog Tents are not intended for vehicle travel and should not be used as transport crates. Keep away from open flames. Not a children’s toy.
Replacement Parts
Can I get replacement poles?
Mighty Mite Dog Tents are the only tents on the market with replaceable poles. They are under warranty for six months, but can be purchased afterward.
Tent Pole Ferrules
How do I lock and unlock the ferrules?
Occasionally, we get calls from customers who think their tent is “broken” because they can’t bring the poles down. They are not broken! They're just locked! Yes! Our tents have a unique locking feature! The plastic ferrules twist — turning the cap to the right locks them, turning to the left unlocks them.
Charitable Donations
Do you donate to clubs or organizations?
We receive many donation requests each year. Donations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until our annual quota is met. Priority is given to organizations related to small dog breeds and/or performance events, with proof of 501(c)(3) status. We appreciate (but do not require) a website or social media link back to us. Donations are only made within the U.S. We reserve the right to determine donation type and value. Requests must be emailed to [email protected]. Postal or social media requests will not be answered.
