Fit:
Bark'n Boots are built to secure around the ankle but below the carpal pad. The boot should have room in the paw area, allowing the paw to spread when bearing weight.
Boots will be snug in the paw to prevent twisting but should have enough room for the paw to spread out during activity. Be patient during the first fitting of dog boots. Give the dog plenty of time to get used to wearing boots. If the boots fit, immediately begin and activity—like a dog walk—to take his mind off the boots. Soon he'll associate the boots with fun.

We have designed our own dog booties to accommodate the tiniest paws!
Great for drop coated (wrapped) show dogs and all dogs looking for paw protection!
Most commercial dog boots start at two inches in width. However many small breeds including Toy Poodles, Chihuahuas and Papillons have paws that measure only 1 inch in width! Now even dogs with the tiniest of paws can finally have booties that fit!
Made with warm fleece, water resistant bottoms and Velcro closures. If you have a hard to fit paw you're looking to keep warm and dry this winter ask us about our custom booties! These are also great for preventing drop coated show dogs from scratching out their wraps. You can order two booties just for the back paws (for show dogs wearing wraps) or four booties for all four paws (for all dogs looking for paw protection and warmth). To make your booties, we will need to know the measurement of the widest part of your dog's paw, the breed of dog and your color preferences (color choices vary depending on fabric availability so please give us options).
